Meet Chloe, a Sneaky Ducker whose love for films and helping people led her to the role of People and Culture Manager at Rotor Studios. She talks to us about her new Dexter frames, her pet dachshunds and why she has a tattoo of Mrs Doubtfire on her arm.

  1. Tell us about yourself and what you do for a living

I’m Chloe and I live in Sydney with my two miniature dachshunds Elliott and Rex. I’m also the People and Culture Manager at Rotor Studios; we’re a full service production company that specialises in CGI, live action content and software development. We create amazing work and have a lot of fun while we’re doing it. I look after our incredibly passionate and talented people and foster an environment where they’re happy and thriving.

Meet Ashley, an award winning writer and Scrumper’s Delight wearer from Brisbane. She talks to us about her latest book ‘A Hundred Small Lessons’, her career highlights and why George Saunders is her favourite author of the moment.

My name is Ashley Hay and I make sentences – for books, essays, reviews, anthologies, journalism; all sorts of things. I’ve just published my third novel, A Hundred Small Lessons. And I live in Brisbane.

Meet Andrew – #SneakyDuckers – Issue 13

Meet Andrew, a Professor of Architecture at the University of Sydney who writes books about “pointy-headed” architectural themes. Find out about his latest work, Rome, and why he digs our Sleeping Fox and Critic frames.

  1. Tell us about yourself and what you do for a living

I’m a professor in the School of Architecture, Design & Planning at the University of Sydney. These days I have feet planted in two cities—working in Sydney and living on the Gold Coast with my wife Ruth (we’re both originally from NZ) and 9yo daughter Amelia. At Sydney, I teach history of architecture, mostly to students who will one day become architects. My books range from pointy-headed kinds of themes (what makes architecture an art? what is discomfort for architecture? or history?) to documentation of knowledge we might otherwise overlook (on NZ modernism, or the architecture and urbanism of the Gold Coast).

Meet Todd, an award-winning photographer from Brisbane who captures ‘I do’ moments for a living. A relative newbie to the glasses scene, he’s a fan of the wooden Birthday Suit.

My name is Todd.. I live in Brisbane with my awesome wife Alyda & daughter Maggie – she’s almost 2..  I live an active life.. I’m a thinker – a student – always learning & my mind is always open..  I photograph people & things for a living – mostly weddings, but also some fashion, architecture, and corporate stuff..
